an Italian theologian, a native of Eugubio, was priest of the oratory of the congregation of St. Philip of Neri, and died at Rome in 1610. He wrote, De Signis Ecclesice de libri 24 (Rome, 1591, 1596; Cologne, 1598): — De jure Divino (Rome, 1600): — Annales Antiquitatum (2 vols.); and other works against Machiavelli. See Hoefer, Nouv.
