a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church South, was born in Tredell County, N.C., September 2, 1824. He was brought up piously; embraced religion in early life; received license to preach in 1850, and in 1851 joined the Louisville Conference. After a short and severe sickness, he died July 31, 1854.
