a celebrated Spanish historian and jurisconsult, was born in the latter part of the 16th century at Saragossa, where for ten years he professed the cathon law, and where he subsequently obtained a canonry in the cathedral. In 1611 Philip III sent him to Sardinia, whence he returned in the following year; and he died abbot of Mount Aragon, about 1630. He wrote, Annales Memorias Cronologicas, etc. (Huesca, 1622, fol.): Historia del Glorioso. S. Valeo Obispo de Zarcagozca (Saragossa, 1615, 4to), containing lists of all the prelates; bishops, etc., of the kingdom of Aragon: Relacion del Regno cde Sardeina (Bare. 1612): Catalogus Archiep.
