Chalamish
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(חֲלָמַישׁ ), a place in Palestine mentioned by the Talmudists (Echa Rabbati, 1:17) as being near Navel (Reland, Palaest. p. 702); thought by Schwarz (Palest. p. 236) to be the same with the modern Sunamein. (See AERE).
