(Χαρααθαλάρ v. r. Χαρααθαλάν, Vulg. Carmella et Careth) is given among the pseudopriests in 1 Esdras 5:36, where "Charaathalar, leading them and Aalar," is the confused translation for " CHERUB (See CHERUB) (q.v.), Addan (or Addon), and Immer," of the Hebrews texts (Ezra 2:59; Nehemiah 7:61).
