Cognatus (or Cousin), Johannes
A Flemish historian and theologian, lived in the early part of the 17th century; was canon of the cathedral of Tournay, and wrote, De Fundamentis Religionis (Douay, 1597): — De Prosperitate ex Exitio - Salomonis (ibid. 1599): — Histoire de Tournai (in French, ibid. 1619, 2 volumes): — Historia Sanctorum (ibid. 1621).
