(i:e., spiritual) occurs in the expressions "ghostly enemy" and "ghostly counsel," found in the Catechism and in the Communion-service of the Church of England, signifying the one our spiritual enemy Satan; the other, spiritual advice preparatory to partaking of the Eucharist (Eden, s.v.).
