(Hebrews Melatyah', מְלִטְיָה, deliverance of Jehovah; Sept. Μαλταίς, but most copies omit), a Gibeonite who repaired part of the walls of Jerusalem on the northern side, after the return from Babylon (Nehemiah 3:7). BC. 446.
