Odonarkes
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(Ο᾿δομηρά v. r. Ο᾿δοναῤῥής ; Vulg. Odares), the name of a chieftain, apparently in the vicinity of "Bethbasi, which is in the wilderness" east of Judaea, who was slain with his tribe by Jonathan Maccabaeus (1 Maccabees 9:66).
