V. to be exalted overmuch); ἐπί τινα, above one, 2 Thessalonians 2:4; with a dative incommodi τίνι, to carry oneself haughtily to, behave insolently toward one, 2 Macc. 5:23; (very variously in secular authors from Aeschylus and Plato down).
