American Tract Society Bible Dictionary
Or "little moons," are thought to have been ornaments of the neck, worn not by women only, Isaiah 3:18 , but by men, and even on the necks of camels, Judges 8:21,26 . Some supposed the tire, in Ezekiel 24:17 , was an ornamented headdress.
