Low Celebration

The American Church Dictionary and Cyclopedia

This is a term commonly used to describe a celebration of the Holy Eucharist on ordinary week-days and in the early morning on Sundays and Feasts. At these the celebrant is unassisted except by a server and there is no choir. All parts of the Office are consequently said, not sung.
