The Missionary work of the Church. This includes Foreign Missions, as in Africa, China, Japan, etc., and Domestic Missions, i.e., the Church's work within the United States where there are no Dioceses; also work in towns and villages in Dioceses where parishes have not been established. This last is called DIOCESAN MISSIONS (which see, also, DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN MISSIONARY SOCIETY).
