Blemishes
American Tract Society Bible Dictionary
Imperfections or deformities which unfitted men for the priesthood, and animals for sacrifice. Of theses we have a particular enumeration in Leviticus 21:18-20; 22:20-24 . In this provision of the law there was an allusion to the great High priest of our profession, who offered himself without spot to God.
