Fitches or Vetches
American Tract Society Bible Dictionary
A species of wild pea. Two Hebrew words are translated "fitches," one of which probably means spelt, Ezekiel 4:9 , and the other gith, a plant resembling fennel, and very pungent, Isaiah 28:25 . The seed is black, and aromatic.
