("Baal is gracious".) Contrast Johannes, "Jehovah is gracious."
1. An early king of Edom (Genesis 36:38-39), son of Achbor.
2. David's officer over his olives and sycamores in the shephelah (low plain). Of Gederah (Joshua 15:36), or Bethgader (1 Chronicles 2:51).
