Beeroth of the Children of Jaakan

(Deuteronomy 10:6; Numbers 33:31.) Israel's halting place next before Mosera, where Aaron died. The tribe took its name from Jaakan, son of Ezer, son of Seirthe Horite (1 Chronicles 1:42 = Akan, Genesis 36:27).
