Bowls

Fausset's Bible Dictionary

Round and hollow. Babylonian bowls are to be seen in the British Museum, with Chaldean inscriptions, probably designed as charms against evil and sickness (compare Joseph's "divining cup," Genesis 44:5). The writing is of a Hebrew type, and may have belonged to the descendants of the Jewish captives in Babylon.
