1. Son of Ishmael (Genesis 25:13). Progenitor probably of a tribe dwelling in the part of Arabia yielding balsam and perfumes.

2. Son of Simeon; named as his brother Mishma from the Ishmaelite Mibsam (1 Chronicles 4:25.)
