Fausset's Bible Dictionary

(1) Τeli , from a root "to hang," either the quiver for holding arrows or a sword hung by the side.

(2) Αshpah; "covering the arrows", as our quiver is from cover. Slung at the back when not being used, by a belt; when in use brought in front.
