Shalim, the Land of
Fausset's Bible Dictionary
SHALIM or Shaalim ("the land of foxes" or "jackals".) (1 Samuel 9:4), through which Saul passed, seeking Kish's asses. Eastward from Shalisha, where on Van de Velde's map we find Beni Mussah and Beni Salem. Between Shalisha and the land of Yemini (Benjamin?).
