Shibmah

Fausset's Bible Dictionary

Hebrew A town originally of Bashan, and called Sebam or Shebam (Numbers 32:3), but afterward assigned to Reuben who rebuilt it (Numbers 32:3; Numbers 32:38). Famous for its vines (Isaiah 16:8-9). Now the ruin Es Sameh, four miles E. of Heshbon.
