(ay' dihn) Personal name meaning, “delightful, blissful, luxuriant.” 1. Ancestor of Jews who returned from Exile with Zerubbabel and Joshua (Ezra 2:15; Nehemiah 7:20 ). 2 . Ancestor of exiles who returned with Ezra (Ezra 8:6 ). 3 . Signer of the covenant of Nehemiah to obey God's Law (Nehemiah 10:16 ).
