Adramyttium
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ad ruh miht tih uhm') or ADRAMYTIAN (NAS) Place name of a seaport on the northwest coast of modern Turkey in Roman province of Asia. Paul used a ship whose home port was Adramyttium to sail from Caesarea to Italy to appeal his case to Caesar (Acts 27:2 ). The ancient site is near modern day Edremit.
