Holman Bible Dictionary
(ay' mi) Personal name, meaning uncertain. A servant in the Temple after the Exile belonging to a group called “children of Solomon's servants” (Ezra 2:55-57 ). Ami is apparently called Amon in Nehemiah 7:59 .
