Anaiah
Holman Bible Dictionary
(uh nawee' ah) Personal name meaning, “Yahweh answered.” Ezra's assistant when Ezra read the law to the post-exilic community (Nehemiah 8:4 ). He or another man of the same name signed Nehemiah's covenant to obey God's law (Nehemiah 10:22 ).
