(az uh zi' ah) Personal name meaning, “Yahweh is strong.” 1. Levite David appointed to play the harp for the Temple worship (1 Chronicles 5:21 ). 2 . Father of leader of tribe of Ephraim under David (1 Chronicles 27:20 ). 3 . Overseer among the priests under Hezekiah (715-686 B.C.) (2 Chronicles 31:13 ).
