Holman Bible Dictionary

(bath-rab' bihm) Place name meaning, “daughter of many.” A gate of Heshbon near which were pools of fish. Song of Song of Solomon 7:4 uses its beauty as comparison for the beauty of the beloved lady's eyes. See Heshbon .
