Beth-Azmaveth
Holman Bible Dictionary
(behth-az may' vehth) Place name meaning, “house of the strength of death.” Home town of 42 people who returned to Palestine with Zerubbabel from Exile in Babylon about 537 B.C. (Nehemiah 7:28 ). Ezra 2:24 calls the town Azmaveth. It may be modern Hizmeh about two miles north of Anathoth.
