Beulah
Holman Bible Dictionary
(beuh' luh) A symbolic name meaning, “married,” used in reference to Jerusalem (Isaiah 62:4 ). The other name, Hephzibah, means “my delight in her.” Both names connote good fortune. The name symbolizes the closeness of Zion and her sons, and that Zion is restored to her God. The name suggests fertilty in the Messianic Age based on righteousness, with the Lord as husband (Isaiah 62:1-2 ).
