Destroyer
Holman Bible Dictionary
An invading army (Isaiah 49:17; Jeremiah 22:7 ) or a supernatural agent of God's judgment (Exodus 12:23; Hebrews 11:28 ), often termed an angel (2 Samuel 24:15-16; 2 Kings 19:35; Psalm 78:49 ). All stand under God's sovereign control as he directs human affairs.
