(di' sshan) Personal name meaning, “bison” or “antelope.” This may be a variant spelling/pronunciation of Dishon. See Dishon .

A Horite chief and son of Seir (Genesis 36:21 ,Genesis 36:21,36:28 ,Genesis 36:28,36:30 ). Apparently, these Horites controlled the land of Edom before the Edomites entered the land. See Edom; Horites; Seir .
