Holman Bible Dictionary
A word of uncertain meaning describing the family or tribal relationship of Adino (2 Samuel 23:8 ), but most modern translations take a clue from the parallel text in 1 Chronicles 11:11 and from the earliest Greek translation, omitting Adino the Eznite from the text. Compare modern translations. See Adino .
