Hamran
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ham' ran) Personal name of uncertain meaning, perhaps, “vineyard.” Member of family of Esau and Seir (1 Chronicles 1:41 ). KJV spells the name, Amram. The parallel list has Hemdan (Genesis 36:26 ); NIV picks up Hemdan in 1Chronicles along with some Hebrew and Greek manuscripts. Apparently early copyists misread similar Hebrew letters. See Hemdan .
