Hiddekel
Holman Bible Dictionary
(hihd' dih kehl) Hebrew name for the third river flowing from the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:14 ). Most modern translations translate it as Tigris. This shows the dependence of the important areas of subsequent world history owed their fertility to God's original garden of creation. KJV also retains the transliteration for Tigris in Daniel 10:4 . See Tigris.
