Ibex
Holman Bible Dictionary
A species of wild goat with large curved horns, native to high mountain areas. The ibex is included among clean game (Deuteronomy 14:5 ). KJV's pygarg is a white-rumped antelope (compare “white-rumped deer” REB). The precise identity of the animal (whether goat or antelope) is uncertain.
