Jakan
Holman Bible Dictionary
 (jay' kuhn) Personal name perhaps meaning, “he was fast.” Descendant of or clan inhabiting territory of Seir (1 Chronicles 1:42 according to KJV and Hebrew spelling). The Chronicles list repeats that of  Genesis 36:27 which reads, “Achan.” Modern translations spell the name Akan or Jaakan here. (Compare  Deuteronomy 10:6; Numbers 33:31-32 ). See Achan; Jaakan .
