Holman Bible Dictionary
(kihr ih awth) Place name meaning, “city” in tribal territory of Benjamin (Joshua 18:28 NAS, NIV; KJV has Kirjath, an alternate spelling). The same as Kiriath-Jearim (see Joshua 18:28 NRSV, REB, TEV). See Kiriath-Jearim .
