Holman Bible Dictionary
One guilty of involuntary manslaughter; one who accidentally causes another's death (Numbers 35:9-15 ,Numbers 35:9-15,35:22-28; Deuteronomy 19:1-10 ). English translations distinguish manslayer from murderer though the underlying Hebrew term (ratsach) is the same. Compre Exodus 20:13 .
