Megiddon, Valley of
Holman Bible Dictionary
(mih' gihd' dahn) KJV term for plain of Megiddo, the broad portion of the Jezreel Valley in the vicinity of Megiddo (Zechariah 12:11 ). The passage perhaps alludes to the death of Josiah on this plain (2 Chronicles 35:22 ). See Megiddo .
