(mi cay' uh) Personal name meaning, “Who is like Yahweh?” 1. Son of Imlah and prophet of Yahweh who predicted the death of Ahab and the scattering of Israel's forces at Ramoth-Gilead (1 Kings 22:7-28 ). Having witnessed Yahweh's heavenly council, Micaiah was certain Ahab's 400 prophets were possessed by a lying spirit. When accused and imprisoned on a charge of false prophesy, Micaiah replied, “If you return in peace, the LORD has not spoken by me” (1 Kings 22:28 NRSV). 2.
