Holman Bible Dictionary
(mihk' tam) KJV form of Miktam. Heading for Psalm 16:1; Psalm 56-60 . The meaning of the term is disputed. Suggestions include a musical notation or a title for psalms connected with expiation of sin. At Isaiah 38:9 , Hezekiah's “writing” (Hebrew miktab ) should perhaps be Miktam.
