Naphtuhim
Holman Bible Dictionary
(naf; tyoo him) Residents of Naphtuh, an unidentified geographic area (Genesis 10:13; 1 Chronicles 1:11; Naphtuhites, NIV and REB). The Naphtuhim were most likely residents of the Nile delta or else inhabitants of the oases to the west of the Nile Valley. The term may come from Egyptian for Ptah, pointing to Middle Egypt.
