(nee' zihb) Name meaning, “garrison,” “idol,” “pillar,” or “standing place.” Village in the Shephelah district of Judah (Joshua 15:43 ). Site is identified with Beit Nesib east of Lachish about two miles from khirbet Qila (Keilah).
