Raca

Holman Bible Dictionary

(rah' cuh) Word of reproach meaning, “empty” or “ignorant” that the Hebrew writers borrowed from the Aramaic language. Jesus used it in Matthew 5:22 as a strong term of derision, second only to “fool.” He placed it in the context of anger and strongly condemned one who would use it of another person.
