Holman Bible Dictionary
(ssab' tee cuh) Place name of uncertain meaning. Sometimes equated with Ethiopian ruler Sabataka (700-689 B.C.) but more probably with an Arabian city state such as Ashshabbak near Medina or Sembrachate in northern Yemen.
