Sheepcote
Holman Bible Dictionary
KJV translation of Hebrew term meaning, “home.” Modern translations usually use “pasture” as the sheep's home (2 Samuel 7:8; 1 Chronicles 17:7 ). In 1 Samuel 24:3 the Hebrew term refers to an enclosure and is usually translated “sheepfolds” or “sheep pens.”
