(sshee' vuh) Personal name meaning, “similarity.” 1. Scribe for David (2 Samuel 20:25 ), perhaps the transliteration of an Egyptian title meaning, “writer of letters.” The name is Seraiah in 2 Samuel 8:17; Shavsha in 1 Chronicles 18:16 . See 1 Chronicles 2:49 ).
