Shoshannim
Holman Bible Dictionary
(sshoh sshan' nihm) Transliteration of Hebrew word meaning, “lotuses.” Technical term used in titles of Psalm 45:1; Psalm 60:1; Psalm 69:1; Psalm 80:1 . It may be the title of a melody, a flower used in a ceremony seeking a word from God, designation of a love song later expanded in meaning, or indication of a six-stringed instrument.
