Holman Bible Dictionary
(zihf' rawn) Place name perhaps meaning, “fragrance.” Site on the northern border of Canaan, near Hazar-enan (Numbers 34:9 ). It may be modern Zapherani southeast of Restan between Hamath and Homs.
